2. Few things could drive my dad into a rage more than Holocaust denial.

The man saw the Buchenwald sub camps. The sight and smell of horror stayed with him his whole life. He and his comrades didn't particularly like SS men before that. Afterward, as he said, their lives weren't worth a plug nickel. He made sure his children knew and understood exactly what he saw. I can only imagine how he'd feel today with home grown nazis.
