This port town, Saint-Malo, is on the coast of Brittany, the Celtic “province” of France located on the northwestern part of the country, not an island. It retains much of its ancestral charm as a walled citadel, and is a popular place for visitors who enjoy its medieval charm and cuisine. It is not far from the site at the border of Normandy known as Mount St Michel, which is truelly a wonder to see/experience. Brittany has many places of worth to visit, such as Rennes, Quimper, Pont-Aven, Dinan, Carnac, and others. Tune in to the music of Alan Stivell, Kornog, or Tri Yann while visiting. The series, All the Light.. btw, is really well worth watching, with known actors Mark Ruffalo and Hugh Laurie having significant roles.
