If you remember back in the 70's or 80's there was a bunch of movies came out about killer bees. I think one of them was called The Swarm. Anyway, I was thinking it was going to be something like that. But no.... this little series is intense, and has nothing to do with bees. Although it IS about nature getting back at us for befouling her waters. I hope there's a 2nd season, because they left it kind of hanging, and I'd like to know more about the YRR (what they called the Intelligence). Once you can come back to doom scrolling, check it out. From a character situation, they do really good. And it truly is a scientific mystery they're trying to track down. So, despite everything, I'd say it's more a scientific/Syfy mystery series than a doomsday series. It's really good. It makes you think.
