4pt mini series on Netflix - "Unorthodox" - captivating to me! [View all]

Such a unique film. I learned so much about Hasidic group from Williamsburg NYC. Drama so strong. 5 stars.

Review on decider.com :
If you’re looking for an engaging weekend binge, the new Netflix limited series Unorthodox may just be for you.

Based on Deborah Feldman’s New York Times bestselling memoir of the same name, the four-episode show follows the story of Esty (Shira Haas), a young woman who leaves her radicalized upbringing and arranged marriage in Brooklyn to start a new life in Berlin. Described by Netflix as a “part coming of age story” and part thriller, Unorthodox has garnered critical acclaim, currently boasting a pitch-perfect 100% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes.
