2. I too would omit the tricep dips. I would also avoid stepping up on the chair as

I once did step classes and ended up taking physio for my knees which surprised me because I cycled everywhere but the therapist told me that cycling only really strengthens the calves. It seems that the muscles at the top of my knees were weak so the step classes put an inordinate strain on them.
