3. I really just want to figure out a routine.

I get most of my exercise outside, either running and biking. Between busy schedules at home and at work, and the bad weather and short days, I haven't been doing much and have about 20 or so pounds to lose.

I'd also like to build up some upper body and core strength to help with my running. I don't want to add any bulk.

My problem is that when I go to the gym, I don't have a clue. I met with a PT at my gym who gave me a list of exercises, but they don't really offer any instruction.

I just need some help explaining the lifting exercises, showing me the right form, and helping me understand when and how to determine the appropriate weights during lifting. Once I get the routine, I can go from there.
