3. I can deal with most people

But I spent a lot of years not being able to deal with anyone.

The trick is who you let get close to you. I'm friendly with everyone if they let me be, but I keep a little distance personally and emotionally from most people until I know they are cool. For this reason I don't have many close friends. People just don't have the patience for me for the most part I guess. It seems like if you speak in more than a few words at a time you lose most people. It's the plague of the soundbite. If you can't say it in 10 words or less, forget about it.
