9. When I was on a psych ward they wouldn't even let us have caffeine

I guess they didn't want us to have anything that would give us a jolt. They let us smoke once every two or three hours, though. Had a little room specially designed for it with a huge exhaust fan. I doubt they'd allow anything like that now days.

But back to the coffee. They did let us have all of the decaf we wanted and we could make it ourselves. There was this one guy there that they had on some kind of sedative. He was always looking like he was half asleep. He would drink that decaf coffee by what seemed like the gallon trying to wake up. He always had a big cup of it with him. I don't think he understood that the coffee was decaf.
