First up, cold creamy tomato soup with four-cheese ravioli.

Is this ever easy for a hot day. It's only 80 here but it's humid. To avoid heating up the kitchen much, I heated water in the microwave and then put it in a pan. It came to a boil fast and I only needed to boil the ravioli for 3" anyway.

Put it in the room temp soup, which came out of a box (Pacific brand, very good) and put chopped basil on top.

Next up is a tossed green salad, for which I washed all the greens last night, so that will be easy, too. I'm using the usual cucumber, cherry tomatoes, scallions, celery and green peppers, all from the garden. I have cold shrimp to put in the salad and will use Caesar for the dressing.
