Made a whole wheat dough for a nice toothy crust, and a tomato paste based sauce that was tangy and slightly sweet. Used VioLife shredded “mozzarella” for the first time and it melted nicely. Vegan sausage crumbles. sliced mushrooms, red onion, black olives and sweet corn were the toppings. Dotted the pie with torn basil leaves and gave it a good sprinkle of oregano before baking.
