I keep things simple and bland. Salt and maybe a little seasoning. That's just me. I use to live near a nature trail that went around a small lake that was a damned creek. I'd leave hungry and come back full. I like to forage for nuts, berries and fresh greens. Sometimes I'd add a few bites from farm crops.
I can eat the same foods for a few days and then change it up a little bit. I read labels and buy the foods with the fewest ingredients and on sale. They are mostly on the outside rows of the stores. Dairy, meats, fruits and veggies. Been eating fresh lake perch this week. Just tried cooking it in the Ninja yesterday and turned out great. Cheated for a few days and made my favorite beer batter pan fried. Going on a perch charter next week and hope to get a limit of 50 Lake Erie Perch. Moved to new place and will have to stop an buy a small chest freezer. I'll need it if I get a deer this year. Hope one of my friends get to many salmon, won't have buy as much. Eat salmon at least twice a week. I just make a healthy BMI.
