the empty nest syndrome. My youngest out of just turned 16. Out camping with friends, going here, going there. My house once filled with noise is so quiet I hear the clock ticking. Where I once did, on average, 20 loads of laundry a week; I now do 2 - 4.

We agreed that we would not move again until all the kids graduated HS. So now we live in a house designed for a large family, but only 3 people. Pretty much biding my time to move into a much smaller home in 2 years.

My plan is to have all the kids come home on the same week and take whatever they want. With me having veto power. Then have a yard sale with the rest.
