Try to feed them everyday, preferably in the same location. Don't make any sudden moves when they come to check out the food, and just talk softly with them. Depending on how long Mama's been out on her own, she may not take that long to check you out. This is what I've usually done in the past when I was doing rescues, and most of the time it worked really well. Even had to do with a couple of dogs. I really hope you can get them before the 4th and all the noise associated with it. I can imagine it scaring the poor baby half to death! Good luck; may Bast lead you with willing paw prints!
