And we're happy for both of you. He's going to be a magnificent adult.

Have you found that rescues seem to hang onto kitten- or puppy-hood a bit longer? Even Audrey, rescued as an adult, and Autumn, rescued at nearly 6 months, spent time getting used to their new life and then sudden regressed into the babies that they should have had a chance to be. It was funny to see a large-ish chow dog romping like an 8-week-old, if only for a few weeks. And Audrey still has sudden bouts of making up for what she must have missed.

I love Merlin's self-admiration. He has good taste. But then, after all, he found you.
