Another Carys update [View all]

She's now spending the entire day out in the open. She likes to sit on the bench by the living room window so she can keep track of what's going on outside. I can walk up to her, and she doesn't dart off. I can give her pets and scritches. She meows at me if she knows I have a treat or a nibble for her. I get the occasional head bumps. On rare occasions she jumps down on the floor and rubs up against me.

This all started when I decided to start singing to her while sitting down so I'm eye to eye with her. That sometimes gets me a few slow blinks.

Fingers crossed she keeps improving. She's absolutely melting my heart.
