We got an idea as to the kitten's age, today [View all]

The vet said that 10 weeks is a good estimation. Little Moon (aka Eira) had a slight temp so they vet put her on an antibiotic. He said it might be due to the de-wormer medication. They go back in 10 days to start their shots.

Just to be ultra cautious, because of my exposure to Covid, I'm waiting until I'm past the self quarantine state, which ends Thursday. If I test negative, and I have little doubt that I will, then I'll feel more comfortable being in an exam room with the vet. (My friends use the same vet as I do.) I'm going to buy a soft sided, top opening carrier for Carys because I think that will be far less traumatic for her, and FAR easier for me to get her in and out.

Tonight Carys ate her dinner, some of the boys dinner, and then she started on the kibble. I walked in to the kitchen to find her up on the table with Gryff. She's also not scurrying away when I walk by her. I call that progress.
