would spread it around and roll in it! I came home one day to find the brand new box (in those days, right off the suprmarket shelf) of catnip shredded all over the floor. The waxy bag of catnip was also in shreds, and there was catnip everywhere. My url was covered in it, and all three were sound asleep. After that, catnip was in an upper cabinet.

A side note: years ago, I was at a friend's apartment measuring him for a Renaissance Faire cloak. We couldn't figure out why his two kittens were crawling around in my purse and acting goofier than usual. We didn't think too much about it at first, as they lovedto play in my purse, but this was a bit weird. I finally realized that I had had a bag of valerian root in it for several days, and the kits responded as if it were catnip.
