22. We were down to 2 for about 3 years, and I missed having...

…blue-eyed cats, so I finally got brave enough to tell my husband that this situation needed to be remedied. After some brief obligatory husbandly grumbling, he agreed, and at the end of January, we adopted and brother-sister pair of Siamese kittens.

It was fascinating to watch the little female. She took to my husband immediately, and would want him to pick her up and snuggle her, would purr for him instantly, and she’d seek him out around the house.

He was a goner within 24 hours. She knew who she had to charm.
