Pets

Even as I sit here with tears streaming, they help a lot. The other cats have been very subdued all day. The youngest, 3, came to the bed with me and reached up and put her paw on my shoulder then gave me kisses. I don't know how much they understand, but they know mama is unhappy.

Izzie was a throwaway that I rescued from a pound. I never had a fear of her running out the door. She wanted nothing to do with outside. We just finished enlarging and remodeling the catio the day before she died. She didn't even want a part of that. She just wanted either my desktop when I sat down, or the bed with me. We went thru a lot in our years together.

Hubby built a little coffin for her and we'll bury her tomorrow. Luckily we had nothing planned, cause I sure couldn't go thru the motions of entertaining.
