5. I've always felt that those that don't have a pet are missing something out on life, and it reflects on them too.

Don't get me wrong, there are valid reasons to not have pets, the place you live won't allow pets, your pet has passed, you don't have room for a pet, it's too costly to have a pet, etc.

Some people aren't made out to handle pets and thank goodness they don't have any pets.

My deceased brother was like that, who more than likely would go for days on a fender bender, forget about any others (including pets if any), etc. My sister kept an eye on him (and her other sister, who too, was an alcoholic). God, I love my sister so much (she put up with so much there in Joplin MO).
