4. Years ago, a friend had a shepherd mix who was also an escape artist.

She could sail over the fence as if it were not even there. My friend frequently had to go looking for her. One day my friend was at work, and I was at our local branch library. Even though I was in the middle of something, I suddenly got a very strong urge to just stop, and leave. As I did, I saw my friend's dog sitting there, staring at the door. She jumped up when she saw me, tail wagging, as if she had been waiting for me. Now, neither my friend nor I had never taken her to the library, much less to the back entrance, yet there she was. I walked her the three blocks back to her house and took her inside, as I had keys. My friend and I were both impressed with her very smart girl.
