Little Bronwyn knows her name. In the mornings all of the porch kitcats get a scritch before I dish out the food. Sometimes she gets impatient and heads for the bowls but I say 'Bronwyn! No food before scritches!' and she comes running back to me.

With the indoor kidcats, I don't dare utter the word 'treat' unless I'm prepared to hand some out.

Arthur recognizes the words 'I love you.' and slow blinks at me when I say them.
