The kids and my brother are coming by to swap out the refrigerators and install a new stacked laundry set. I need to get busy emptying the fridge. Just as I was getting ready to stand up, a purring Merlin hopped up on me and started giving me kitten kisses. Lately, after he finishes eating he wants to pounce on me and gnaw on my arm. This morning he curled up on my foot while I was straining the broth from a chicken carcass I'd slow cooked all night.

Guess it's going to be one of those days.
