Clint's Reptiles has a large series of "The Best Pet ..." videos. Most are serious, but a few are tongue-cheek (the T. Rex & human children come to mind. Spoiler - children are rated among the toughest to care for). He covers various amphibians, reptiles, mammals, lots of invertebrates, etc..

I've been enjoying watching a lot of them even though I'm not particularly looking for any pets. Some of the ones that live mostly unattended in a terrarium might work for me, though.

Green Tree Skinks (Lamprolepis smaragdina), also known as emerald tree skinks, are beautiful, personable, and adorable little lizards. Basically a green tree monitor in a little skink body. I love them! But is the emerald tree skink the best pet lizard for me?
