The dog has a gentle leader and he's pretty accustomed to being around new people. Plus the vet has given us calming meds for both of them. I will look into harnesses. The cat will always be in his carrier other than in the hotel, but I can see that a harness would be helpful with him also. Thanks for the great tips!

Left acupuncturist vet email. They are open tomorrow for a few hrs. So I expect reply then.
