On more infrequent occasions Norman Rockwell made more disturbing paintings of historical bad events.

The first one I saw was the little Black girl being walked to school in between protectors.
There were smashed thrown vegitables, on the wall, on the ground.

Years later I saw of the Black Civil Rghts Worker clinging to one of the other white CR workers, with the other one already dead on the ground being approached by soon to be 3 murderer's shadows including rifle barrels from the right..

Absolutely chilling!!!
