We have so much to overcome, wade through, uand throw out before we even come close to the country we think we are. White privilege is so pervasive and overwhelming. Most of my friends still tell me they aren’t prejudiced. And they truly believe it. I started listening to myself about 30 years ago. I can’t say that my first thoughts aren’t much better now.
