And I believe you.

Yet, they might as well argue a prohibition on drugs would obviate the distribution, possession and use of drugs.


I often believe that some (although certainly not all) of such people believe the life of a violent attacker(s) is more important than their victim, and if self-defense is legally employed, it should still be a "fair" fight.

Which is why I do not believe them when they protest their only interest in gun control is to preserve innocent life.
