Maybe even re-examining whether there is any such thing, as someone too dangerous to have a gun but not dangerous enough to warrant custody.

Of course, that doesn't help the gun hatred cause, so it will be ignored.

If traffic laws weren't being enforced, what would be the point of making new ones, or keeping the old ones?
