The majority of people selling guns at a gun show are dealers. A lot of them have stores and they bring a select inventory to the show. Others are part-time "kitchen table" dealers that buy and sell used guns as a side business. Gun shows are what they use in lieu of a storefront.

Most private sellers don't have enough guns for sale to make renting a table at a gun show worthwhile. They might bring guns there to try to find a dealer to buy it, I guess.

Gun shows attract dealers from all over the region. It's a regular marketplace.
