He did it under the guise that less than .5 percent of all gun crimes were being committed by assault weapons. No Shit Sherlock! They were Banned till the imbecile lifted the ban?????
Now it's been almost 20 years and Pandora's box has been open and Im pretty sure America is permanently fucked.
With smart marketing and NRA backing America's gun manufacturers have produced millions of these weapons of death and they aren't going away even if somehow a national ban on them were even possible.
I'm an older guy but if I was a young man starting out wanting to raise a family today I certainly wouldn't do it here. I've tested negative for nationalism decades ago.
