10. So you told me that I proposed one of three things. How is that not projecting?

None of what you think I think is even close to real.

Let me introduce myself. I learned marksmanship at 12 on family farm in S TX. The family's arsenal included the usual hunting rifles along with some more exotic things. The Army qualified me on the M14, M16 and field qualified me on the 1911 and M60. I'm also qualified on two tear gas dispensers, one backpack and one vehicle mounted. I was certified chemical/biological. Had a short stint as a 'sharpshooter' in a riot control company. My FFL (C&R) expired after I bought all the surplus rifles and pistols I wanted. I've participated in RKBA discussion for the better part of 40 years mostly on an academic level. Then December 14, 2012 happened with my grand daughter in my lap. That shifted the conversation from high school debate to real world. That made me reevaluate my relationship to guns. I destroyed a few and narrowed my collection to genuine collectors items. I have not fired one of them in about 7 years but am confident that I can make a 3 inch group at 100 yards with my 6.5 Swiss iron sights. Muscle memory and breath control.

There are too many guns in too many hands and they are too easy to get. I believe that to reduce the carnage, about 150,000 casualties a year, that has to change.

That's me. Who are you?
