4. Why do we need to defend our approach to other countries?

France criminalizes many forms of speech that the U.S. doesn’t, and I prefer the U.S. model. I find it uncompelling when people say I should “man up” because they disagree with the Constitution. If you don’t like it then change it. I prefer to leave it as is.

But per the original post, there are certainly things we can do within the parameters of the Constitution that seem reasonable, it’s just convincing politicians to take these steps.
