then they go out and do that thing, I don't believe the instructor should be held responsible. But, we do live in a litigious society. ANY instructor (driving, golf, etc.) would be subject to this. Acts of stupidity nowadays are celebrated by ambulance chasers, looking for $$$$. Here in IL, they're looking to pass legislation to change wording in the SAFE-T act, changing wording from "know" to "should have known", basically. If it passes, one will have to have a clairvoyant with you to make decisions.
