1. IN 2005 the decommissioned the USS REsolute

one of the last large floating drydocks that supported the submarine service. It was one of many built during WWII to service battle damages ships. Adding sections allowed them to handle even a battleship. There is one sold off in Guam, one at Bremmer and the last one was at Norfolk. Today private companies own them.
