Had another great appointment with my new Oak Street NP [View all]

This guy is a treasure. He does everything he can to help me relax. He remembers so much of the non-medically related things we talked about. Today he asked for a recommendation of a good Welsh writer. Of course I immediately mentioned Dylan Thomas but should have included Emlyn Williams.

Also got my flu and covid vaccinations. Unless something comes up, I won't be seeing him this time, next year.

Until I was assigned to him, I dreaded every appointment and never left that appointment feeling optimistic. I'd come straight home and go to bed. It is amazing what a difference it makes to have a truly caring individual monitoring my health.
