13. Late last year, I got a couple of emails supposedly from the SSA. I deleted them without opening them.

I followed the same practice which you follow. Eventually, I logged into my Social Security online account, looked around, and found nothing there which merited my attention. It is immaterial to me whether the emails I received were fraudulent or not, since I had no interest in opening them.
