I live in a senior living center. [View all]

It's the right thing for me.

But oh, am I getting tired of dealing with meal issues. Tonight I went to our dining room at 4:30pm. By 5:30 no one had come by the table to even take drink orders, let alone food. I finally gave up and went to my room for leftovers, as there was somewhere I needed to be at 6pm. And I was really looking forward to the lasagna on the menu. I'm still hungry.

Whatever happened to things starting on time? Earlier today, at an afternoon entertainment thing, the performer started some fifteen minutes early. What am I missing?
