"[i]According to the New York Times, the executive director of Brooklyn Defender Services explained the New Jersey case Tuesday, saying Headley was in a car with four people when it was pulled over; police allegedly found stolen credit cards inside the car. Though Headley was quickly released and had only been charged with a misdemeanor, she couldn't get back to New Jersey for a court date and a warrant was issued for her arrest."

At least she now has an attorney. I'm hopeful that she'll now have the resources to prove her case.

On an unrelated matter, I absolutely adore Josephine Baker. In French class (elementary and middle) , I always chose to be called by Josephine . She was truly a beautiful, black, badass boss.
