3. Did the neighborhood kid get polio after 1955?

There was a boy in my first grade class who'd had polio and used crutches. But it was in the spring of my first grade year that the Salk vaccine came out. The mass immunizations were an incredible feat, and there would have hardly been a kid who was missed.
