Swiss police have arrested a man suspected of attacking five people in a chainsaw rampage following an international manhunt.

Franz Wrousis, 50, was arrested in Thalwil, a town about 60km (37 miles) from Schaffhausen, the border town where the incident took place.

He is alleged to have walked into a health insurance office wielding the chainsaw on Monday.

The search for Mr Wrousis involved more than 100 Swiss and German officers.
