You need a friend in the service bays! A very iconoclastic friend of mine bought a new Corvette, fully intending to have it done up by the top Vette tuner of the day (Baker), and generally race the hell out of it. The salesman is glad-handing him around the dealership, and introduces (unbeknowst) him to his old friend - the Service Manager. Somehow, they avoid bursting into laughter in the presence of the salesman. Service Guy catches him aside, and says "I''ll fix any F'n thing you want - blow up the motor, new wheel bearings every spring, I don't care - you can't be worse than the "consumers"! Just don't me chase rattles, and we're even!"
