V-6's today make pretty good power. More than old inline 6's, and almost equal to old carburated V-8s. If you normally don't carry big loads, pull heavy trailer, or drive on steep hills or at high altitudes, a naturally-aspirated V-6 probably has all the power you need. Saves on initial purchase price and maintainence/potential problems down the road. I have a Toyota T-100 with a 3.4 V-6, its got plenty of power.
