3. I had a similar situation (not with a corvette though) when I moved.

I had my car hooked up to the back of the UHaul truck with a UHaul car tow dolly.
The movers said they could not load the trailer with the car hooked up. I was disconnecting the wheel straps to move the car off the dolly. So before I could say or do, anything the dickwad just popped off the dolly hitch from the truck and BOOM!!
The Car bounced off the dolly and wrecked the the bumper cover..
Lucky the moving company paid for the repair.
Never underestimate youthful enthusiasm and stupidity.... uff
