got a ranger 4x4. prolly never use that coz in live in FL. got a traction question. [View all]

drove the Santiam Pass in a snow storm in my 2WD Ranger. i was nervous but i lived.

say i'm caught in a snow fall in the 4x4, how would getting into 4WD improve the traction even if it's just regular road tires?
