The team the Cards are chasing are the Chicago Cubs.

The Cubs have an impressive offense this year, and are doing well considering they lost their top two starters to injury. But they're the Cubs. They've won the World Series once in the last 116 years. If there's ever historical precedent in sports, it's for the Cubs to collapse.
