Giants hitters have been target practice in recent games, so they asked Birdsong to plunk a Marlins hitter.

The result was three Marlin runs.

People ask "what can we do to discourage our batters from being hit, accidentally or otherwise?"

I suggest, rather than violence, setting out some really weird food for the opposing team, still high quality, but weird.

And please don't say McDonalds. Sure I know they hired a convict and rapist. I worked there at the beginning of time.


What would freak out the opposing team enough to cause them to behave better? (and not make them ill)
