In 2024, the Chicago White Sox won 41 games. Their record was an abysmal 41-121.

In 2025, the Chicago White Sox won their 41st game today, August 1st. They have 52 games remaining in the season. Now, they were expected to be better this year, but nearly every expert I saw predicted at least 100 losses. This can still happen, but I don't think it will. The team is 9-4 in their last 13 games, and no team in baseball has scored more runs since the All-Star break. They have nothing to lose; there's no pressure on this team to accomplish anything. They can just go out every day and play baseball - and get paid to do it! They're having fun, and suddenly are fun to watch again. They have a handful of exciting rookies.

So, how about that?
