Pittsburgh Steelers legend Franco Harris passes ahead of Immaculate celebration [View all]

His death comes just days before he is set to be honored on the 50th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception at Three Rivers Stadium. The catch came in a Steelers playoff victory over the then Oakland Raiders.
FYI in case you didn't know, Franco was a staunch Democrat who actively campaigned for Democratic candidates.
