1982 was a tough year for those of us from the Bay Area who'd grown up Oakland Raiders fans. Our team leaves for LA and suddenly our long-time-loser cross-bay rival was the baddest team in the league, in a really sudden fashion?
It was tough. Granted I was only 16 or so in 82.
I'll be rooting for them in the playoffs cause I don't care at all about any other team that's in them this year.
And I'ma make a prediction ... the HATED Chiefs will have an unceremonious exit via the Bills or Bengals, at Arrowhead. I love when they lose at Arrowhead, and I get to imagine their fans shuffling out, sad and dejected.
I'm sure many Chiefs fans think the same way about Raider fans
